Prepess Specs
When setting up files for print there are a few things to keep in mind. Setting up your files correctlly can speed up production of your job and also save you cost. A couple of things to watch are:

Resolution - should be no less than 300 ppi on raster images (Grey scale and CMYK Photoshop files). When using Bitmap images the ppi should be 1200.

Bleeds - If you have image touching the edge of the piece, you need to have the art extended at least a 1/8" past the edge of the piece.

Fonts - Include all your fonts for the job. Please do not give us all your fonts on your computer. Many programs have a collect for their output feature. In QuarkXPress it is under, File Collect for Output. The Indesign feature is called Package. These feature will collect your fonts and images used in the piece.

Color - Please make sure all your art isn't RGB. If it is it may cause color issues.

PDF - Color Express Cimarron is now a full pdf workflow. If you would like you may just send us a high resolution PDF with all the fonts embedded.
